My wife has had left and right nephrostomy tubes for the last year. They are flushed twice a day. The left tube only drains for 2-3 weeks before it With nephrostomy, showering is the limit of wetness. And my nephrostomy tubes block more frequently and I don't dare schedule the change more than 4 weeks and risking blockages at that.
